The aim of a chiropractor Sydney is to rehabilitate people who suffer from musculoskeletal problems. They do this by introducing several interventions that help them exercise. One common intervention is physiotherapy Sydney. This is a popular process used to treat muscles and it?s also used to treat sports injuries. The result of this treatment ensures relief from muscular sprain and ensures that you can work efficiently and pain free. The treatment not only helps to relieve pain but it also repairs damaged muscular fibers. Sometimes people need to undergo surgery for ligament and muscular tear and physiotherapy treatment afterwards. This is usually one type of post operative rehabilitative treatment.

There are different reasons for which a chiropractor Sydney treatment is required. Some of the major rehabilitative interventions include knee reconstructions and hip replacements. The major focus of this treatment also includes improving mobility and strength in the joints. But at the same time this condition can also be used to treat arthritis, back and neck pain, whiplash injuries, repetitive strain injury (RSI), sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. There are various methods that that a physiotherapy Norwest uses. These include orthopedic, neurological and muscular tests. Such tests help these professionals prepare a better treatment plan for diagnosis.

This is a standard practice that a chiropractor Sydney follows. First they would access your condition and only after that they would suggest the necessary intervention. This assessment is not just made on the condition of your injury. But the chiropractor would take your lifestyle and general health in to consideration. There are a host of reasons to choose a chiropractic professional for treatment as compared to using other forms of treatments. The first reason is that they provide and value quality treatment. Some forms of physiotherapy professionals depend on their machines to do work, but that?s not the case with chiropractors.

A chiropractor Sydney provides hands on therapy. They also make it a point to listen to their patients and take feedback to know what is working and what is not. Compared to other professionals that are involved in treating muscular pain and injury, a physiotherapy Ryde professional and a chiropractic professional continuously train themselves in the latest techniques and professional treatment methods. Such learning ultimately helps them in providing their patients with the best quality treatment. Contrary to what most people think such treatments usually have accurate results. With a little rest and a small alteration in the lifestyle most people are healed.

The job of chiropractic professional is not an art but it?s considered an exact science. These diagnoses help both the professional and the patient deal with the injury which is not a temporary solution. These professionals are registered with the central medical governing bodies and they also come highly recommended. The best way to find them is through the internet where people can get their contact information or email address. You can call them and set an appointment and also check with them the charges for the specified treatment.

United States Senator Lieberman to speak at Republican party convention

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

United States (U.S.) Senator Joe Lieberman is scheduled to speak at the Republican party convention, according to a member of the McCain campaign who wishes to remain anonymous. Lieberman, who was the Democratic vice presidential candidate in the 2000 presidential election, has been one of Republican party candidate, John McCain’s, staunchest supporters.

The official who informed the press of this announcement stated that Lieberman is slated to speak on the second day, a Monday, of the convention. There has been a lot of speculation in the past months that Lieberman would speak at the convention. In a interview with David Brody of CBN, Lieberman stated in response to the question about the possibility of him being at the convention that, “well, it’s not clear yet but you might just see me there.”

Lieberman is currently in Georgia, with Senator Lindsey Graham; he responded when asked if he would be speaking at the convention that “it’s quite possible, but I’ll let them announce it.” Lieberman’s office has not commented on this announcement.

Lieberman has been recently considered a possible candidate for the Republican vice presidential seat. The convention will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota from September 1 through the 4th. He is currently a Independent Senator in Connecticut, who caucuses with the Democratic party. Lieberman was the Democratic vice presidential candidate back in 2000, when he ran with Al Gore.

German BND claims U.S. exaggerated Iraq WMD claims

Sunday, November 20, 2005

One of the most important arguments in the run-up to the Iraq war made by Colin Powell in his United Nations speech and President Bush in his State of the Union address was that Iraq had an active biological weapons program and possessed mobile biological weapons labs. According to an investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee, the main source for this information was an Iraqi defector codenamed Curveball who was a source for the German central intelligence agency BND.

Several German intelligence officials responsible for Curveball have now told the LA Times that the Bush administration and the CIA have repeatedly exaggerated his claims and ignored warnings of the BND that the source was unreliable. Recounting his reaction after seeing Powell’s United Nations speech one German intelligence officer said: “We were shocked. Mein Gott! We had always told them it was not proven…. It was not hard intelligence.” This corroborates reporting by the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit from 2003 and 2004 based on statements of unnamed senior German intelligence officials.

Nine months earlier, in May 2002, a fabricator warning was posted in Curveball’s file in U.S. intelligence databases. Powell was never warned that his United Nations speech contained material that both the DIA and CIA had determined was false, even though several people present at Powell’s CIA meetings were fully aware of this.

At this time German intelligence officers would not let the CIA meet directly with Curveball, but allowed a CIA doctor to draw blood samples. Questioning the validity of Curveball’s information in front of his CIA supervisor, the doctor was advised to “Keep in mind that this war is going to happen regardless of what Curveball said or didn’t say and the Powers That Be probably aren’t terribly interested in whether Curveball knows what he’s talking about.”

Shortly after Powell’s UN speech and several days before the invasion, United Nations weapons inspectors attempted to directly verify several key claims made by Curveball, but concluded that they were unsustainable. The White House insisted on its WMD claims based on Curveball’s information.

Even after the invasion, when more and more of Curveball’s accounts were shown to be pure fabrication, the CIA and the Bush administration relied on Curveball’s information. When U.S. forces discovered trucks with lab equipment and Curveball claimed that these were identical to the ones he has been reporting about, the CIA rushed to publish a White Paper claiming that these trucks were part of Saddam Hussein’s secret biological weapons program and Bush claimed publicly that “We found the weapons of mass destruction.” Several days later, twelve of the thirteen WMD experts who analyzed the trucks agreed that the equipment was not suited for biological weapons production, with the only dissenting voice coming from the author of the original White Paper.

The White Paper remains posted on the CIA website to this date, and President Bush has not yet retracted his statement that Iraq produced “germ warfare agents” made in his State of the Union address or his postwar assertions that “we found the weapons of mass destruction.”
